In the last episode of Smart People Podcast, Aubrey de Grey explained how he believes that if you can manage to keep on chuggin’ for the next 30 years or so, there is a good chance you will live well past a few hundred years due to scientific advancements. In this weeks episode, Dr. Joel Fuhrman explains how the “Nutritarian” diet can help you stay healthy so that you can make it at least those necessary 30 years. Dr. Fuhrman specializes in preventing and reversing disease through nutritional and natural methods. He has been practicing for more than 20 years and established the Center for Nutritional Medicine located in Flemington, New Jersey. His signature book Eat To Live: The Revolutionary Plan for Fast and Sustained Weight Loss, first published by Little, Brown & Company in 2003 spawned multiple foreign editions and over 20 reprintings. Dr. Fuhrman has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, Today, Good Morning America, the Discovery Channel, TV Food Network, CNBC and many more.
You can find Dr. Fuhrman’s website at http://www.drfuhrman.com/.
You can also find Dr. Fuhrman’s book, “Eat to Live” on Amazon.
You know I listen and read EVERYTHING Dr Fuhrman publishes, and I have to say, this was one of his best interviews to date – very clear and concise. I encourage people to listen to this multiple times, and then to read EAT TO LIVE. It has completely changed my life (and I was already what most people would consider healthy). It takes some adjustments, but get past the first month or two – things will change that you never expected (ie: weight, allergies, sinuses, snoring, acne, energy, etc etc etc), and you’ll never look back!
You guys HAVE to fix this page so that the link to the podcast is more prevalent. So many people are linking to here from dr fuhrmans facebook page and thinking the dr oz video is the interview and not even seeing the small icon to play your interview. Then they are getting upset at how old the video is. 🙂 not everyone linking to hear is computer or podcast savvy.
Thanks for the response and for moving the podcast link to the top – I think that will help.
David,
Thanks so much for the suggestion!! We went ahead and moved the podcast location to the top of the post. Hopefully it’s easier for people to locate! Thanks again!
Where is the podcast? It seems to be missing, unlike the others I briefly visited to see if the problem was localized.
Cheers
Joel Fuhrman is a a great example of how when someone finds where their passion meets their natural giftings, “Genius” is born. This man is a genius and truly a gift to us all. Thank you Dr. Fuhrman.
